FORECLOSURE-PROOF 12 Months Mortgage Payment Prize Drawing
OFFICIAL RULES
Description: This mortgage payment prize drawing is open only to current homeowners and prospective homeowners who are in the process of purchasing and financing a home. It is being offered as an encouragement to homeowners to apply various proactive strategies designed to reduce their chances of facing a foreclosure in the purchasing and financing of their homes. One such strategy is the establishment and maintenance of an emergency reserve savings fund to be used to continue debt servicing for at least 6-12 months in the event of an emergency such as a job loss or illness. The prize will afford at least one lucky winner the opportunity to develop such a fund.
Eligibility: No purchase necessary to enter. Open only to prospective homeowners and current homeowners who are at least 18 years of age and are lawful residents of the United States. Affiliates and any person, including immediate family members and others of the same household of such persons, associated with Consumer Financial Education Forum are not eligible. Void where restricted or prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
How to Enter: Online purchasers of the special report, FORECLOSURE-PROOF, are automatically entered. Others who meet eligibility requirements may enter by completing and submitting the “Contact” form available at: www.consumerfinancialeducationforum.com/contact
Entry period begins on December 1, 2008 and ends on November 30, 2009.
Drawing & Notification of Winner: Random drawing will be made from all entries received during the entry period. At least one winner will be selected. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Winner will be notified by email, telephone and regular mail and may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release within five (5) business days after notification. Failure to respond or to establish eligibility accordingly will result in disqualification and the random drawing of a substitute winner. A confirmed winner’s name and state of residence, after meeting all eligibility requirements, will be posted on www.consumerfinancialeducationforum.com. All entrants agree to abide by the rules of this prize drawing and all relevant decisions of the sponsor, Consumer Financial Education Forum, are final and binding.
Prize: The prize in this drawing will be a payment of the winner’s mortgage for 12 months (up to a maximum value of $18,000). In accepting and in fulfillment of the goal for this prize, the winner will agree to apply their regular mortgage payments for the twelve (12) months up to the amount of the prize, to a reserve savings plan for use in continuing their mortgage payments, etc, in the event of an emergency such as loss of job or illness. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winner.
